自分の提案や計画を伝えたあと、相手の率直な反応をやわらかく聞きたいときに使います。友達にも仕事相手にも使えますが、強く賛成を迫らず、相手の意見を尊重する響きがあります。

よくある間違い

  疑問文では主語の前に助動詞を置きます。

  助動詞 does の後ろでは、動詞を原形にします。

提案や計画を伝えたあとで、相手の反応や意見をやわらかく聞くときに使います。友達との相談から仕事の打ち合わせまで幅広く使えます。

How does this sound to you? は失礼？

失礼ではありません。相手に決定を押しつけず、意見を求める自然でやわらかい表現です。仕事でも使えますが、より改まった場面では What are your thoughts on this proposal? なども使えます。
