よくある間違い

• ✕ Do you think would changing the plan be a good idea?

  ○ Do you think changing the plan would be a good idea?

  動名詞句はDo you thinkの直後に置き、wouldの前に置きます。

• ✕ Do you think to cancel the event would be a good idea?

  ○ Do you think canceling the event would be a good idea?

  この構文で案を表す場合、to不定詞より動名詞を使うのが自然です。
