よくある間違い

  ○ They still exist.

  exist は動詞なので、現在形で使うときに be 動詞は不要です。

  around はこの表現では形を変えません。

• ✕ The old traditions is still around.

  ○ The old traditions are still around.

  traditions は複数形なので、be 動詞には are を使います。
