よくある間違い

• ✕ Please take around this and pass it.

  ○ Please take this and pass it around.

  目的語 this は take の直後に置き、回すことを表す around は pass の後に置きます。

• ✕ Please take this and pass around it.

  ○ Please take this and pass it around.

  この意味の pass around では、回す対象の代名詞 it を pass の前に置きます。

• ✕ Please take this and pass it around to everyone.

  ○ Please take this and pass it around.

  pass it around だけで、皆に順番に回す意味を自然に表せます。to everyone を付けても文法的に必ず誤りではありませんが、この定型表現では通常省略します。
