以前案内した予定や手続きについて、相手にもう一度確認してもらいたい時に使います。メールや社内連絡でよく使われる事務的でややかたい表現ですが、相手を責める響きは比較的弱いです。

  主語をweにして、組織からの連絡らしくする

よくある間違い

  be動詞の後には、toを含む不定詞が必要です。

• ✕ This is to remind to you of the appointment.

  remindの直後に人を置き、toは使いません。

• ✕ This is to remind you the appointment.

  ○ This is to remind you of the appointment.

  remind someone of somethingの形では、対象の前にofが必要です。
