会議や話し合いで、今の議題をいったん切り上げて次の話題へ進みたいときに使います。くだけすぎず、仕事でも日常会話でも使えますが、相手の話を遮るように言うと少し急な印象になることがあります。

  move on の後で移動先を示すときは、通常 to が必要です。

• ✕ Let's change onto another topic.

  ○ Let's change to another topic.

  話題を変える場合、change onto は使いません。change to another topic または move on to another topic と言います。

• ✕ Let's move onto the another topic.

  ○ Let's move onto another topic.

  another は「別の、もう一つの」という意味を含むため、通常その前に the は置きません。
