延命

「延命」の英語

「延命」は英語で prolonging life と言います。人の命を長らえる意味ではこの表現が一般的です。制度や悪習などを存続させる否定的な意味では perpetuation、会社や事業を何とか存続させる意味では keep ... alive などが使われます。
