「普及者」の英語
「普及者」は英語で disseminator と言います。情報や考えを広める人に使い、専門知識を一般向けに伝える人なら popularizer が自然です。populariser は主にイギリス英語のつづりです。

語源
disseminatorは、ラテン語disseminare（dis＝離れて＋seminare＝種をまく）から派生し、語尾-atorは行為者を表すため「種をまく者」が転じて情報を広める人の意になった。
