「正統性の欠如」の英語

「正統性の欠如」は英語で lack of legitimacy と言います。より硬い一語の名詞では illegitimacy も使えます。なお、illegitimacy は文脈により「非嫡出」を指すこともあります。

政治や制度の正統性がないことを、分かりやすく表す一般的な言い方です。

illegitimacyは、ラテン語illegitimus（法にかなわない、婚姻外の）を起源とし、元来は婚外子を指した用法から正統性の欠如の意味へ広がった
