「会計情報」の英語

「会計情報」は英語で accounting data と言います。取引や残高などをデータとして示すときに使い、より広い財務上の情報には financial information が一般的です。記録そのものを強調するなら accounting records も使えます。

accounting dataは、accountingがaccount（語源はラテン語computare「計算する」に由来）に現在分詞の-ingが付いた語で、dataはラテン語datum「与えられた事実」から来て会計上の記録を指す
