主導権
「主導権」の英語
「主導権」は英語で initiative と言います。実際には take the initiative（主導権を握る、率先して行動する）の形がよく使われます。競争や交渉で優位に立つなら take the upper hand、国家や勢力の覇権なら hegemony が適切です。
