「原因の帰属を変更する」の英語

「原因の帰属を変更する」は英語で reattribute と言います。美術史や歴史研究で、証拠をもとに作品や文書の作者を別人に結びつけ直すときに使います。出来事の原因や責任を別の原因・対象に帰属し直す場合にも使えます。

reattribute
美術史や歴史研究で、作者や原因を別の対象に結びつけ直す硬い表現です。

再帰属させる：作品や出来事の所属・起源・責任を改めて別の人や原因に結びつけること

reattributeは、接頭辞re-（再び）とattribute（帰属させる）が結合してできた語で、元の帰属先を変更して別に結びつける意味で用いられる。
