「擬人化」の英語
「擬人化」は英語で personification と言います。文学や広告で物・概念を人のように表すなら personification、動物などに人間の感情を当てはめる意味では anthropomorphism が一般的です。

語源
anthropomorphismは、ギリシャ語anthrōpos（人間）とmorphē（形）に由来し、本来は「人の形」を意味し、非人間に人間的性質を帰属させる意味に発展した。
