「転覆者」の英語
「転覆者」は英語で subversive と言うのが一般的です。subverter は公権力や制度の転覆を企てる人を指す硬い語で、rebel は反抗者全般を表す、より広い言い方です。

政府を転覆する人という意味で、転覆の対象を示すときは against ではなく of を使います。
× He is subversive.
○ He is a subversive.
subversive を「転覆者」という名詞として使う場合は、可算名詞なので通常は a が必要です。形容詞として使う場合の He is subversive. とは意味と用法が異なります。
