不法行為者
「不法行為者」の英語
「不法行為者」は英語で tortfeasor と言います。法律上、他人に損害を与えて民事上の損害賠償責任を負う人を指す専門用語です。日常会話では専門的な tortfeasor よりも、the person responsible などの平易な表現が使われます。「被告」を意味する defendant は、裁判上の立場を表す別の語です。
