管轄
「管轄」の英語
「管轄」は英語で jurisdiction と言います。法律上の裁判権や組織の正式な担当範囲を指す基本語で、purview は扱える範囲、scope はより一般的な「範囲」です。なお、cognizance は「認識・考慮」を表し、通常「管轄」の訳にはしません。
