「定型文」の英語
「定型文」は英語で boilerplate と言います。契約書や規約などに組み込む定型文には boilerplate、複数の相手へ同じ内容を送る文書には form letter が一般的です。

boilerplateは、新聞社が配布した既製の原稿（boiler plates）から転じて、契約書などに使われる標準的な条項を指すようになった
