地動説

「地動説」の英語

「地動説」は英語で heliocentric model と言うのが一般的です。コペルニクスの学説を歴史的に指すなら Copernican system、理論名としては heliocentrism も使います。

heliocentric model
現在の説明や教育では、太陽中心のモデルを広く指します。
The heliocentric model places the Sun at the center of the solar system.
地動説では、太陽を太陽系の中心に置きます。

太陽が中心だという理論を、やや硬めに表す言い方です。
