「聞こえにくさ」の英語

「聞こえにくさ」は英語で difficulty hearing と言います。本人が聞き取りづらい場合に最も自然で、音や声そのものには hard to hear が使えます。音響状態を硬く説明するなら poor audibility も使えますが、inaudibleness はまれです。

本人が音や声を聞き取りづらいときに最も一般的に使う表現です。
I have difficulty hearing in crowded places.
人混みでは聞こえにくいです。
hard to hear
音声や人の声が聞き取りにくいと簡潔に言う表現です。
The announcement was hard to hear from the back of the hall.
ホールの後ろからはそのアナウンスが聞き取りにくかったです。
can't hear someone clearly
会話中に相手の声がはっきり聞こえないと伝える表現です。
I can't hear you clearly because of the wind.
風のせいであなたの声がはっきり聞こえません。
poor audibility
会議や放送などの音響状態を説明するやや硬い表現です。
The report noted poor audibility in several parts of the building.
その報告書は建物の複数の場所で聞こえにくかったことを指摘しました。

The inaudibleness of the recording made the lecture hard to follow.

音や声がはっきり聞こえないことを指す聞こえにくさ

inaudiblenessは、inaudible（聞こえない）に名詞化接尾辞 -ness が付いて「聞こえにくさ」を表す語である

聞こえにくい本人には、be difficult to hear ではなく have difficulty hearing を使います。
× The sound is difficult to listen.

○ The sound is hard to hear.

音が聞こえるかどうかには listen より hear が自然です。
