A magnet's magnetic force attracts a paper clip.
The force by which magnets or magnetic materials pull each other or nearby objects toward themselves.
The magnetic force of the magnet attracted the iron filings.
The force produced by magnets or magnetic fields that attracts or repels magnetic materials such as iron.
語源
magnetic forceは、magnetic(ギリシャ語magnētis「磁石」由来)とforce(古フランス語force「力」由来)が結びついてできた語で、磁石による力を表す。

× The magnet has a strong power.
○ The magnet exerts a strong magnetic force.
× Magnetic force means the area around a magnet.
○ Magnetic field means the area around a magnet.
