「相関係数」の英語
「相関係数」は英語で correlation coefficient と言います。coefficient of correlation も使えますが、前者がより一般的です。rho は母相関係数やスピアマンの順位相関係数などを表す専門的な記号・用語です。
「相関係数」の英語の使い分け
統計や研究で最も一般的な、二つの変数の相関を表す語です。

意味は同じですが、correlation coefficient よりやや硬く、使用頻度は低めです。
