「相対移動」の英語
「相対移動」は英語で relative motion と言います。二つ以上の物体や座標系の間で、位置関係がどう変わるかを表す学術・工学用語です。日常会話より、物理や技術文書で使います。

基準となる物体や場所に対する移動を説明的に表します。
move relative to
物体が別の物体を基準に動くことを、動詞で表現します。
The particles move relative to one another.
粒子は互いに対して動きます。

相対移動を行うとは言わず、分析する、測定するなどの動詞を使います。

relative の後ろで基準を示すときは to が必要です。
