点呼する

「点呼する」の英語

「点呼する」は英語で take attendance と言います。参加者が順番に番号を言う場合は count off、名前を読み上げる場合は call the roll と言います。

count off
参加者が順番に番号を言って、人数を確認する場合に使う表現です。
Please count off before the team leaves.
チームが出発する前に、順番に番号を言ってください。
take attendance
学校や会議などで、名簿を使って出欠を確認する一般的な表現です。
The instructor takes attendance every Monday morning.
その講師は毎週月曜の朝に出席を取ります。
call the roll
教師や責任者が名前を読み上げて出欠を取る表現です。
The teacher called the roll at the start of class.
先生は授業の始めに点呼をしました。
check attendance
職場や行事などで、出席状況を確認するときに使える表現です。
The supervisor checked attendance before the safety briefing.
監督者は安全説明会の前に出席を確認しました。

活動の前に生徒の点呼をしてください。

点呼するために名前や番号を順に声に出して数え、出欠や人数を確認する行為を指す

count offは、動詞count（数える）と副詞offの結合で、順に数を言って人を識別し点呼するという意味になった

学校や集会、軍隊などで名前や番号を順に呼んで出欠や人数を確認する表現で、call the rollやtake attendanceと同様の場面で使われることが多い
