「海図」の英語
「海図」は英語で nautical chart と言います。navigational chart も使えますが、naval chart は海軍・軍事用の海図を指すことが多い表現です。

語源
navigational chartは、navigate（航行する）の形容詞形navigationalと、ラテン語charta→古フランス語carte→英語chart（紙や図）から成り合わせて航海用の地図を指す語となった。
