「ペッカリー」の英語
「ペッカリー」は英語で peccary と言います。北米南西部などでコラードペッカリーを指す日常語には javelina も使われ、首の白い輪が特徴の種は collared peccary と呼びます。コラードペッカリーの学名は Pecari tajacu です。
