「意識的に」の英語
「意識的に」は英語で consciously と言います。自分で気づき、意図して行動することを表す基本表現です。目的をもって行う場合は intentionally や deliberately も使います。

語源
consciouslyは、conscious（意識のある）に副詞接尾辞-lyが付いた語で、consciousはラテン語scire（知る）を語源として『意識して』の意味が生じた。

× I did it conscious.
○ I did it consciously.
動作を修飾する副詞なので、形容詞ではなく副詞を使います。
× She worked consciously to finish the report carefully.
○ She worked conscientiously to finish the report carefully.
誠実に、几帳面にという意味には別の副詞を使います。
