しびれ感

「しびれ感」の英語

「しびれ感」は英語で numbness と言います。チクチクする感覚なら tingling が自然で、医療記録では症状を広く表す abnormal sensation も使われます。

numbness
手足などの感覚が鈍い、またはなくなった状態に使います。
I felt numbness in my toes after sitting too long.
長時間座っていたら、つま先にしびれを感じました。
tingling
チクチク、ピリピリするようなしびれ感に使います。
She has tingling in her left hand.
彼女は左手にピリピリするしびれがあります。
abnormal sensation
しびれやピリピリ感など、正常とは異なる感覚を医療記録で広く表す表現です。
The patient reported an abnormal sensation in his arm.
患者は腕に異常な感覚があると訴えました。
loss of sensation
感覚が失われていることを明確に伝える正式な表現です。
The examination revealed a loss of sensation in her leg.
診察で、彼女の脚の感覚が失われていることが分かりました。

skin sensationは、英語のskin（皮膚）とsensation（感覚）が結びついた複合語で、皮膚を介して生じるさまざまな感覚を指す。
