「前提知識」の英語
「前提知識」は英語で background knowledge と言います。あるテーマを理解するために事前に必要な知識を指し、読解や授業、説明の場面で広く使えます。文脈によっては prior knowledge とも言います。

× precondition knowledge
日本語を直訳した表現で、英語では一般的ではありません。
× I have knowledge of background for this subject.
○ I have some background knowledge about this subject.
knowledge of background という語順は不自然で、前提知識は定型表現の background knowledge で表します。
