「裏面」の英語

「裏面」は英語で back と言います。紙やカードの裏なら back や reverse side、葉や部品の下側の表面なら undersurface、本や冊子のページの裏面を専門的に言うなら verso です。

back
紙やカードなどの裏を日常的に言う、最も使いやすい表現です。
Write your name on the back of the card.
カードの裏に名前を書いてください。
reverse side
用紙や書類の反対側を明確に示す、やや丁寧な表現です。
The instructions are printed on the reverse side.
説明は裏面に印刷されています。
undersurface
葉や昆虫の翅、部品などの下向きの表面を指す専門的な語です。

翅の裏面には特徴的な模様があります。
verso
本や冊子のページなどで、表面（recto）の反対側を指す出版・美術分野の専門用語です。
The verso contains the artist's handwritten notes.
