ゲラニウム
「ゲラニウム」の英語
「ゲラニウム」は英語で cranesbill と言います。耐寒性のあるゲラニウムを指す園芸用語で、花壇のグランドカバーなどについて話すときに使います。なお、園芸店で「ゼラニウム」と呼ばれる植物は英語で geranium と呼ばれることもありますが、厳密には別の植物を指す場合があります。
