「強磁性体」の英語

語源
ferromagnetは、ラテン語のferro（鉄を意味する ferrum）とmagnet（磁石）を組み合わせた造語で、もともとは鉄のように自発的に磁化する物質を指し、後に同様の磁性を示す材料一般を指すようになった。
