スカンク属
「スカンク属」の英語
「スカンク属」は英語で Mephitis と言います。学術論文や標本ラベルでは Mephitis または genus Mephitis が使われます。なお、skunk は属を特定しない一般名で、スカンクという動物やスカンク類を指します。
