× The road has a lot of straight.
straight は形容詞なので、道路の形を説明するときは be動詞の後に使います。straightness という名詞もありますが、日常英語では The road is very straight のほうが自然です。
× I admire his straightness when he speaks.
○ I admire his directness when he speaks.
人の率直さには directness のほうが自然です。
